Gilson CPC เครื่องแยกสารให้บริสุทธิ์ ที่นำมาใช้ในงานระดับทดลอง จนถึงระดับการผลิต CPC สามารถทำสารให้บริสุทธิ์ได้ในปริมาณมากในแต่ละครั้ง แต่ใช้เวลาที่น้อยลง โดยใช้หลักการแยกสาร ที่ใช้ตัวทำละลายในปริมาณที่น้อยและไม่ต้องใช้คอลัมน์ที่มีการบรรจุด้วยวัสดุ ที่มีราคาสูง และยังกำจัดได้ยากหลังใช้งาน เทคนิคในการทำสารให้บริสุทธิ์นี้ จึงเป็นอีกทางเลือกหนึ่งที่ดีกว่าเทคนิคที่ใช้อยู่ส่วนมากในปัจจุบัน เครื่อง CPC  สามารถนำมาใช้ในการทำสารบริสุทธิ์ในงานผลิตภัณฑ์สารสกัดจากธรรมชาติ (Natural product), งานด้านสารสังเคราะห์ (Synthesis product) และงานพันธุวิศวกรรม (Biotechnology) และซึ่งค่าความบริสุทธิ์ของสารที่ได้จะมีค่ามากกว่า 95% ยกตัวอย่างเช่น การใช้เครื่อง CPC ในการทำสารสำคัญในกัญชาให้บริสุทธิ์ ได้ค่ามากถึง 95-99% จากผลิตภัณฑ์สกัดหยาบจากกัญชา (Crude Extract)

Centrifugal Partition Chromatography (CPC), also known as Counter Current Chromatography (CCC) is a preparative, pilot and industrial scale liquid purification technique that does not require traditional solid supports. The main aim of this technology is to isolate the maximum amount of a specific molecule at the highest purity, in a minimum of time and without using any silica column or support media. Gilson CPC offer high injection capacities of milligram to multi-kilograms resulting in 95% recoveries with 99% purity or better.
